I have the following equipment:
Stanton SCS 3 system
Laptop
Heaphones
Speaker Monitors

I ultimately trying to get the sound to come out of my speaker monitors but I know I am missing a few things. Would the speaker monitors need a pre-amp or could I just plug them into a behringer audio mixer?

So I’m thinking it would be connected like this, but I’m not quite sure yet…

Speaker monitors -> preamp-> mixer -> usb audio interface (i was thinking of getting an audio 2 dj)-> headphones would be attached to the interface -> the interface would be attached to the computer which would be running Traktor Pro and lastly the dj mixing gear (aka the Stanton SCS 3) would be hook up on the other usb port of the computer.

Anything else I’m missing? Am I completely wrong??
they’re not powered speakers, but now i’m thinking of getting my hands on a powered audio mixer so i can just hook it up that way…

Is it possible to have 30 amp service on a standard 20 amp, 120v outlet? I own a banquet hall and was going to install a sound system with DJ gear that includes amplifiers and subwoofers. I was told to run (2) 20 amp circuits instead.
